Constrain agent critique with a brief, evidence packet, severity levels, and a read-only findings pass before any revision.

6 steps

Write a critique contract: user job, scope, severity levels, output format, and what the agent must not do
Assemble an evidence packet: screenshots, states, copy, and relevant files
Pick critique dimensions that match the artifact, such as task clarity, hierarchy, states, trust, system consistency, and accessibility
Run a read-only critique that returns top findings with severity, evidence, user impact, and smallest recommended fix
Approve or reject each finding yourself
Ask for a narrow revision pass on approved findings only, then recapture the same evidence
